Reflective memo # 8

I finally found a report that breaks the Dubai population down by sectors and by cities.

Now I am guessing that I can use a map to help me determine which areas are rural. I am also thinking that I can use their site to search the names and get information around the cities to determine if they are rural or urban. It is looking like that will be the most work intensive approach though and I am still hoping that I can find a report on their sites someplace that has already done this work for me. No need re-inventing the wheel if I don't have to.

I am hoping that once I get done with the population statistics that I'll be able to start in on looking at the government and private initiatives that both countries have started. I was very fortunate in finding the Dubai governments website. It is turning out to be a wonderful resource for information on their society.
