Reflective Memo # 6

While searching for information around rural telecommunication infrastructure, I thought that a good way to begin would be to determine what population of the US was actually located in rural areas. I discovered that according to the 2000 Census, approximately 20 percent of the populate is located in rural areas in the US.

Since my research is focused around the US infrastructure vs. the Dubai infrastructure, this fact seemed interesting to me. Although I am having trouble finding information around Dubai's rural areas I am finding some good information on Dubai's government site.
